VPN Server (PPTPD)

Download latest rpm from

http://poptop.sourceforge.net/yum/stable/rhel5/x86_64/

install download rpm & edit following files

vi /etc/pptpd.conf

option /etc/ppp/options.pptpd
connections 10
localip 10.0.0.200
remoteip 10.0.0.201-210

vi /etc/ppp/options.pptpd

name pptpd
refuse-pap
refuse-chap
refuse-mschap
require-mschap-v2
require-mppe-128
proxyarp
lock
nobsdcomp
novj
novjccomp
nologfd
logfile /var/log/pptpd.log

add users in following file

vi /etc/ppp/options.pptpd

# Secrets for authentication using CHAP
# client server secret IP addresses
#User Service passwod fixed ip

sanjay pptpd info@123 10.0.0.201

save file & start pptpd service

service pptpd start

Thats it ur ready with ur VPN server just connect with any vpn client.
